My fellow Otakus,

As you can see, the site has been blooming with huge piles of Ecchi DDL's! Our fellow Members on the forums have been uploading many ecchi titles and providing the community with free ddl's for you guys to enjoy! I just want to say how proud I am of everybody and I really appreciate everybody's help! We also upgraded our forums to vBulletin 4. Everything is more organized now and it just looks a lot cleaner; ready to receive your ecchi posts! If I were you guys, I would pop by the forums since we have DDL's there as well. We also have many Hentai DDL's included in the forums, so be sure to check that out!

This was just an update for you guys and I hope you will enjoy the site even more now with our ever growing database of Ecchi Anime DDL's!

My dear Otakus,

Yesterday I went through hell to restore the backup of the forum. I was trying to get all the data available and the latest I could restore it to was last week sunday. I am sorry it turned out this way, but let this be a lesson for all of you. Make backups of your backups! And make backups of that backup as well.

At any rate, please go back to the forums and start posting again. I am working on same crazy backup features so that this never happens again.

Let this be a lesson for all of you. Backup your darn backups... For some reason a folder with my most recent forum backups got deleted, and my full site backup doesn't backup that folder so the most recent backup I've got is from last sunday... If you registered after that, please re-register. All post have been lost as well after that. Sorry for the inconvenience.

This shit sucks.

You probably won't be able to login into the site and the forum is disabled until hostgator restores the backup. I am gonna have a massive backup network going after this.

note: There is a storm over the East Coast and I am without electricity. Forum is down, working on it through relays.

I've got great news! I just found a great VPS hosting provider which allows us to get a semi-dedicated server for $35/mo. This is pretty great since we are in the need of some automation like 24/7 rss downloads and 24/7 uploads. I hope to be getting this server in the coming 2 months as I scramble some money together. With several plans laid out by Misesty and I, we decided that we are in the need of a very automated feature. We are looking for a coder who is somewhat familiar with Joomla! and bash scripting. This is what we're looking for.

We want to be able to set up an RSS downloader with torrentflux. As soon as the download is complete it has to be uploaded by a script to 2shared and megaupload.com. The links will be stored in a TXT file together with the filename. This is the MUST feature. The additional thing we would like to see (not as important as the first feature) is that as soon as the upload is complete, a script using RPC will push the episode into K2 (our submission system). It has to insert the correct episode name/number, correct extra fields (link and filename) and it has to put it in the correct category.
