New Design Again!

My Fellow Otakus,

I was very displeased with our current template as it felt very empty and lonely. This blue and coldness just didn't reflect what Animekyun is all about. That's why I am updating the template yet again to a more cozy and relaxed design. Don't worry, this one is going to be a quick update in the sense that the site might go down for half an hour. I've got the design ready to go, but I've got a Calculus Test tomorrow on the Integrals chapter so I am going to study for it after I finish this post :D.

On another note, the site is becoming VERY active. Much more active then I thought. The site is in a desperate need of a dedicated server. We humbly accept any amounts for donation and we sincerely appreciate every penny! (But don't be all stingy and actually donate 1 penny. You will get banned... because I can!)

EDIT: Okay... the ban thing was a joke... To be honest: Any amount is absolutely welcome! :D

A bit of Silence

My Dear Otakus,

As you may have noticed, it has been very quiet at the site lately. I haven't been uploading much anime and that's due to the fact that I am very busy with my short film Project IRIS. Currently this movie has received a tremendous amount of attention by people around the world and I am really pushing this thing. And I also have some good/bad news. I will probably be re-updating the site template again. For some reason (don't ask me how) it's causing login issues which are hardcoded in this framework. I can't look at it since I'm too lazy. Sooo... I'll probably will switch to a more anime friendly template. This is a bit too cold and open for me. I like the "crowded" feel.

In other words: If you have time to help me out with the site by adding anime and what not to the main site. Please don't hesitate to mail me or shoot me a PM on the forum!

My fellow Otakus,

After several hours of struggle, I have finally managed to bring the site back to at least it's original feature-set with a new skin! I am, however, trying to add the other features I was very excited about but couldn't add due to time restraints. I will be adding a Featered Anime slide show and other mish mosh. Let's hope this mish mosh won't slow down the server... if it does imma take it out.

As the director of my upcoming movie Project IRIS, I want to spread the word that this movie is going to be awesome! Me and my friends are putting a lot of effort in this short film and it is going to be amazing! It is loosely based on Elfen Lied. It will be filled with suspense, drama and horror. Glory of Ecchi

My dear fellow Otakus,

The end of January marks how fast our site has been growing. We jumped from 200-300 visitors a day to 600-1000 visitors a day. I obviously know that this has to do with the fact that we are being linked to from Tokyo Tosho, Jishaku Tosho and Nyaatorrents but that doesn't change the fact that the site is doing well. People are commenting (which is awesome), and are also reporting dead links (which is even better)! Our community is growing and we make new otaku friends every day :D. Our forum has well over a thousand posts and we have more than 100 members. All of that in under half a year of the site's inception. Unbelievable.
