AnimeKyun Update!

Hey Otakus!

I've got some cool news for you guys and perhaps gals out there. Let me first start off that we finished uploading the Amaenaideyo Katsu episodes. We also would like it if people would help us get mirrors for the episodes we upload. AnimeKyun tries really hard to get all the good ecchi anime uploaded to fileshare hosting providers, so we prioritize on the first mirror to keep the ball rolling. That's why we sometimes fall behind on the mirrors! So help is very much appreciated. Mirrors can be provided through the comment system or by PM-ing either Me or Misesty. We also started to upload Rosario + Vampire!

Furthermore, we are starting to test the iPod/iPhone/Mobile streaming platform. It will be very server intensive so it will be limited to registered users only. Once we get a dedicated server, we will open it to the general public. Testing for the MKV streaming platform is also well underway. The only issue remains with the DivX plugin itself. Since it's in BETA, some features are rather buggy. My end is fully integrated and is ready to go as soon as DivX releases a stable version of their web player. The current issues are as follows:

• Subtitles are too big
• Buffering is strange
• No auto subs (you have to select the subtitle by right clicking)

On top of that, we have skinned the site to match the spirit of Halloween and it will remain like this until the 31st. After that we have all the way from November to mid-December to prepare for the Christmas skin. It's gonna be BIBLICAL! (No reference to religion intended)

In any case, the site is well underway and Animekyun is trying feverishly to expand its perimeters to a broader audience so spread the word! Or you can follow us on our twitter!
