PS3 - 1 reason is because I'm used to the system (played the PS1 & PS2) the controls is little less bulky (doesn't mean I can't play on Xbox 360). Even though I have both PS3 & Xbox 360, I slightly prefer the PS3 due to the fact I can play online without having paying a dime (you can guess that I have a Silver Membership on Xbox 360).
True, but then again it is free. Another plus for the PS3 is it has Blu-ray player installed. The downer for Xbox 360 is it can't save music (/videos) if you were transferring it with a USB stick.
I do love the xbox but i can't stand that it's so locked down. I disgust it. I can't play music from my iphone, can't put shit on my 20gb harddrive... wtf is up with that?!

Pretty much my pt (I was tempted to get the 120GB console, but opted for 60GB - luckily I did cuz I still have 50GB worth of memory & I can't really use up much of it). A perfect e.g. is trying to watch (converted to console compatible) animes on your system, it works on both however the PS3 is the only 1 that you can save to (so no need to rely on USB stick) - so far my (120GB) PS3 have about 60GB left.
Whilst on the subject of Xbox 360, not sure you guys can help me out, I have the Universal remote for the console, from time to time when I press the DVD menu or simply the on/off button(s) it somehow switches my laptop on which is placed about 60cm away (it still does its job but its kinda annoying that it switches another electronic on) what's up with that?
I am going to vote for the Xbox specifically for the online service and updating process. I have never had a problem with live while playing any game but on the Playstation I sometimes have to wait upwards of 15 minutes to connect with other players and have a terrible connection at that even though the game is less than a week old. Updating is horrendous on the PS3 you have to download a 100+ meg file every time it updates. I have a ridiculously fast internet connection (8 meg down) and still wind up waiting like 10 minutes every time there is a new update just for it to download then actually applying the update takes another 5-10 minutes. On my Xbox the whole update process takes less than 5.
Don't even get me started on the chat thing on the Playstation which just plain sucks.
