Which is more appealing, anime or manga?

i vote anime. Manga just doesn't have that feel to it. And i don't like reading backwards and in black and white. I'm like a little kid. I NEED COLORS!

I have to agree with reon, as much as I love anime, manga normally has the main source of echiiness. You should've seen how mad 'Asu no Yoichi' fans were when the eps. based upon the most seductive manga chapters is taken out & replaced with...well, practically boring scene.

that is quite true Marty17. Manga never has the censors that the Anime has. I mean, Manga is not aired, and doesn't have DVD's u know. So yeah... Personally I have never really given Manga a shot.

Manga's don't need DvDs, since they are meant to be bought at first hand as books~

I like it when an anime takes the initiative to be different from the manga (chapters) & make it better. But sometimes its a real risk.

true that it's a risk. But kyonani did pull a fast one on us with their endless eight. Dunno why they did that. I first thought it was because most of the team was working on the movie. But that doesn't make sense cuz you still need people to animate that crap... idk...

I don't see why they edit out so much stuff from the manga's when they make 'em into animes, there could be so many more sales if they would use the manga

production costs... The economy is screwing us all. Animators don't do it for the money. They do it because they love their job. Studio's just don't have the money to get that stuff into the anime.
