**Disclaimers**
• I am by no means an expert on this. I am writing this because we have had many people ask and I don’t want to try to explain over and over. If something is wrong please leave a reply so I can fix it.
• I recommend using Media Player Classic: Home Cinema player(MPC:HC) and the Combined Community Codec Pack(CCCP) to play all the videos we post. It’s what I use and have yet to encounter any problems playing anything. It is also what I will be using for this tutorial.
• I use Windows 7, so my pictures might not look like your screen but should be similar enough for you to understand. I’ll explain any difference that I know about where applicable.
• If you don’t have the OP and/or ED files, ask us so we can tell you where they are or (try to) upload them for you (if you ask nicely).
• From everything that I have read, changing the file name of the OP and/or ED files does not cause them to not work. Just make sure to keep them in the same folder.
• I have absolutely no idea how to combine the OP and/or ED back into the same file with the episode, so don’t ask.
Why ordered chapters?
This is something that the fansub groups do to reduce the file size of the episodes (usually between 100 and 200Mb). This makes the downloads of the individual episodes quicker (since you only have to download the OP and ED once) and lets you watch your favorite shows faster.
Things you need:
•CCCP (latest version; link is below)
•MPC:HC (comes with CCCP)
•the OP and/or ED files for that episode
What to do:
Install CCCP. Click Here
Open Haali Media Splitter Settings:

There should be an option labeled something similar to “Try to open linked files”

Make sure that “Yes” is selected at the bottom. I think it will be a check box in other versions of windows, just make sure its checked.
Make sure that you have the OP and ED files IN THE SAME FOLDER as the episode you are planning to watch.

Open your episode in MPC:HC and enjoy!
